About

WELCOME, WELCOME. The time has come for me to finally start this insane endeavour to watch and read a completely ridiculously long list of television shows, films and novels. Will my emotional and mental and even physical state be able to handle this? We shall find out.

Why am I doing this?
This was all inspired by the amazing Mark Oshiro who just finished watching the Buffy series for the first time. As a MASSIVE Buffy/Whedon(verse) fan, it felt like I was watching the series again and his reviews somehow made it better and more interestig.
I, myself am a geek when it comes to pop culture and I have the tendency get unnaturally and emotionally attached to characters and the world(s) they live in. So when I discovered there were so many other fandoms I haven't experienced yet and found myself having a lot more free time after my final year of high school, I wanted to try it.
Stupid? Maybe. Going to be the death of me? Most probably. Unprepared? Completely. Excited? Hell yeah.

How is this going to work?
Well I'm going to be watching at least 2 different television shows and 1 novel at the same time unless I say otherwise. For each chapter and each episode I will post a text review of what I think and feel and a video liveblog of me watching it for the first time. The video might not appear in every post so if you want a specific episode to have a liveblog video, comment or e-mail me.
Before the I begin a new series, season or book, I will be posting up predictions of what I THINK is going to happen to embarrass myself in front of hardcore fans. When I finish a season or book, I will tally up how WRONG I was.
If you have a suggestion for what you want me to watch and/or read, then e-mail me. My list of things that I am going to review is up on this page.
Every month I'll do a minimum of two films.

So here are guidelines:
  • SPOILERS OF ANY SORT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. This includes the outright discussion of what will happen in the future of plot, mentioning any character names that haven't appeared yet, and IMPLYING or HINTING and you can't confirm any theories or suspicions. This includes things like:
    • OMG WAIT UNTIL YOU GET TO CHAPTER/EPISODE 5, it's so intense!!!11!1.
    • Don't worry, this will be explained later in the series.
    • This character dies/gets redemption/is hated because of...etc.
    • Oh this episode was referring to something that was mentioned before in episode 2. That happened when this character was doing something in important in chapter 2.
IF EVER UNSURE, DON'T DO IT. JUST DON'T.
Not accepted. I will most probably hate you for the rest of my life. Mark made people write spoilers in gibberish via: rot13.com. So if you have to post a spoiler for your own sake, go to the website and type out what you want and then make it gibberish. Paste the gibberish in comments and label it as a spoiler for Season 2 or Chapter 5 etc..

  • I will only be doing things I have not seen or read before so that my reaction and noob-y feels will be raw and incredibly hilarious for those who are already part of the fandom. It will be as if I'm watching it as though it was premiering for the first time and no one else knew what was happening either. This is why I want to be unspoiled. So that the experience is real: I want the happy, pain, surprise, shock.
